My name is Tamara - I run a travel company but this is my personal blog and is not just about travel but my family.

I have a son called Tom - now one and a half. A bundle of energy who I feel sure will be the cause of my grey hair.

Why Ventana?

This blog is named after a boat. Ventana is a 100 year old dutch barge that James and I bought in Amsterdam. We sailed her over to the UK, gutted and renovated her and lived on her for three years in Chiswick.   I will do a post about the renovations when I get a moment.
